At CIT we strongly believe in the holistic development of students, i.e., they develop in such a way that they evolve into full-fledged and confident professionals by the time they graduate. This is made possible by encouraging them to engage in various cultural activities such as music, theatre, literary, visual & fine arts, etc.

Acknowledging the importance of Cultural Activities in the overall development of the Students, this Institution has created a separate club, known as the Cultural Club, to oversee all such activities of students on campus and off-campus throughout the year.
Cultural Activities is not just about entertainment; they help moulding the personality of the students and help them in the following ways:

CIT Cultural Flair 2024: A Spectacular Celebration of Talent and Tradition
CIT Cultural Flair 2024, the prestigious annual cultural extravaganza of Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, held at our campus on May 31st and June 1st, 2024. Since its inception in 2002, Flair has been a cornerstone event of CIT, bringing together vibrant talent and a rich tapestry of cultural expressions.

This year’s edition was an eclectic mix of performances and competitions that showcase the diverse skills of our students. Whether it’s the rhythm of the West or the soul of the East, Flair has something for everyone:
- Western Solo, Duet, and Group Performances: Groove to modern beats in electrifying solo, duet, and group performances.
- Classical and Folk Dance: Experience the grace and tradition through classical solo, duet, and group dances.
- Skit, Mad Ads, and Mime: Enjoy the creativity and humor of our skit, mad ads, and mime presentations.
- Visual Arts: Marvel at artistic expressions in theme drawing, rangoli, and face painting competitions.
- Literary Events: Engage with poignant words in poetry (English and Kannada) and debates.
- Creative Media: Explore compelling narratives in photo story building, photography, videography, and short movies.

- Chief Guest Appearance by Mr. Dharshan Narayan: We are honoured to have Mr. Dharshan Narayan, the celebrated winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 20, grace our event with a special appearance.
- DJ Night: Dance the night away under the stars with our electrifying DJ night, a perfect climax to two days of cultural celebration.

FLAIR 2023 – Annual College Feston24th March 2023 & 25th March 2023
Flair 2023 is an intercollegiate cultural fest of Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology. This annual affair brings with it new surprises, new challenges, new winners, and lots of fun along with it. It is a two-day event that features several activities and events that challenge the potential of students from all over the student community. Every year the students unite in a combined and synergized effort to organize this festival. Not only does, it allows the students to explore their creative and artistic sensibilities but it also provides a platform to exhibit their talents. Our college authority decided to celebrate this year’s annual cultural program with technical events.

ADVITHA 2022 – KANNADA RAJOSTAVA FESTIVAL ON 10/12/2022
The Advitha Kannadada Rajotsava Festival is an annual cultural celebration held in CIT, Gubbi, on October 12th, 2022. This festival is a significant event in the College. The day is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Karnataka as the state was formed on this day. The Rajyotsava day is celebrated with great joy and vigor all over the state of Karnataka.
CIT college, organized the Kannada Rajyotsava celebration event on 10th Dec 2022. The Event commenced with Flag hoisting by Principal, Dr. Suresh D S, along with all Deans and HOD’s and he has informed everyone to protect our mother tongue and teach others as well. The Cultural activities like dances from students and Kannada songs from staff members which were entertained the crowd. The event made memorable to all the staff members although maintaining Covid-19 rules
