The department routinely organizes technical talks by leading industry experts and academicians in diverse areas to spread awareness among students and staff. The department also undertakes Consultancy and Product Development projects for industries.

2024-25

Industrial visit – 14/10/2024 & 15/10/2024

The Department of Civil Engineering had organised a two-day industrial visit to Tungabadra dam, BMM Ispat steel manufacturing unit, and RBSSN mines at Hosapete from 13th to 15th October 2024. The visit included students from 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters. During this massive industrial visit, students witnessed features of dams, AV of dam history, working of turbines, inspection gallery, safety indicator of dam, iron ore production at mines, and steel manufacturing at the plant.
