- Dr M S Rajendra Kumar presented the paper titled “Amalgamation of sustainable Agriculture, Rewilding and Farm Management intended for enhancing profits of farmer — A conceptual study” at International Conference conducted by MBA Department of VTU at VTU, Belagavi on 8th and 9th June 2023.Authored by Dr M S Rajendra Kumar, Dr Suresh D S and Dr Chaithanya S.
- Dr M S Rajendra Kumar, Professor had delivered a Technical talk on ” Lean Manufacturing to enhance Productivity” at Atria Institute of Technology, Bangalore on 19th June 2023.
- Mr. Nagendra R and Ms. Swathi J were empaled as Financial Education Resource Person by SEBI – “SEBI Certified Financial Education Resource Person” – Nagendra R & Ms. Swathi J.
- Nagendra.R, Assistant Professor have cleared Karnataka State Level Eligibity Test (SLET).
- Nagendra.R, A.P has co-authored a text book on “Soft Skills”.
- Swathi.J has received Certificate of Achievement from Macquarie University, Australia for successfully completing a course on “Financial Literacy” and she is instrumental in establishing “Quality Circle” in the college .
Students Achievements:
CIT MBA students participated in 9th Indian Student Parliament held at MIT World Peace University Pune during 18th – 20th Jan 2019.
The department undertook a comprehensive study on “Workforce Availability Analysis – for new HAL unit being setup at Bidrehallikaval, Gubbi Taluk.” along with extract of the Interview, a detailed report was published in Bangalore Mirror as a series on three consecutive days in the year 2016
Chithra T R (2013-15 Batch) secured VTU 1st Rank in MBA and collected 4 GOLD Medals during 15th VTU Annual Convocation held at VTU, Belgaum on 27th May 2016.
Students Sports Achievements:
- Chithra T R (2013-15 Batch) has represented VTU in “All India Inter University Netball Champoinship” held at Annamalai University, TN during 2014-15. She has also participated in various district, state and national level Netball tournaments and have won many prizes.
- Swamy B J (1CG18MBA51) participated in VTU Inter Collegiate Central Karnataka Zone Volleyball men tournament organised by HMSIT, Tumkur on 5th & 6th march 2020
- Ravichandra G (1CG18MBA37) participated and won Runner-up place in VTU Inter Collegiate Central Karnataka Zone men cricket tournament organised by SIT, Tumkur on 6th to 4th March 2020
