STATE LEVEL CHAMPIONSHIP 2023-24
VTU state level Championship was held on 11th & 12th January 2024 at CIT, Campus Gubbi in this tournament total 16 teams from all the 8 Division Winner & Runners teams are participated there are Belagavi Division, Kalburgi Division, Mysore Division,Mangalore Division, Bangalore North Division, Bangalore South Division, Bangalore Central Division & Central Karnataka Division
The formal inaugural function was held on 11th January 2024 at 10.30 AM D S Suresh Director & Principal, CIT Group of Institution Dr. Giridhar S Kulkarni Dean Admin & Dr. Jagadeesh G Physical Education Director, CIT were present in the Inaugural Function Dr. D S Suresh Director CIT has address the students and wish the all team players and team managers.
Final match was held between CIT, Gubbi & SIT Tumkur finally CIT Gubbi won the match & lift the VTU Kho-Kho Champion trophy for the year 2023-24
First Place: Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, Gubbi
Second Place: Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur
Third Place: NMAMIT, Nitte Bangalore
Fourth Place: BMSCE, Bangalore

VTU Central Karnata Division & State Level Championship for the year 2023-24 held from 10th to 12th January 2024
CENTRAL KARNATA DIVISION TOURNAMENT:
VTU has given the responsibility to conduct the VTU Kho-Kho Men Inter-Collegiate Central Karnataka Division & State Level Championship for the year 2023-24 to our college.
The Central Karnataka Division KHo-Kho men tournament was held on 10th January 2024 at CIT Campus Gubbi. Total 8 teams from SIT, Tumkur, SIET, Tumkur, Govt Engineering College Hassn, JNNCE, Shimogga, KIT, Tiptur GMIT, Davangere, UBDTCE, Davangere & CIT, Gubbi teams are participated in this tournament.
The inaugural function was held on 10th January 2024 at 10.30 AM. Sri G S Basavaraj Member of Parliament Tumkur & Chairman of the Society, Sri. G B Jyothi Ganesh–Secretary, & MLA Tumkur Dr. Suresh D S Director & Principal, CIT Group of Institution Dr. Shanthala C P Vice Principal, and Gust of Honour Mr, Somashekara D L NIS Coach Kho-Kho & Kabaddi, Reginal Director Central Karnataka Division & PED Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan & Dr. Jagadeesh G Physical Education Director, CIT were present in the Inaugural Function.
Final match was held between CIT, Gubbi & SIT Tumkur finally CIT Gubbi won the match & lift the Central Karnataka Division trophy.

VTU Kabaddi Men Inter-Collegiate Central Karnataka Division, State Level Championship & VTU Team Selection trails for the year 2022-23. men Kabaddi Cup
CENTRAL KARNATA DIVISION:
VTU has given the responsibility to conduct the VTU Kabaddi Men Inter-Collegiate Central Karnataka Division, State Level Championship & VTU Team Selection trails for the year 2022-23.
The Central Karnataka Division Kabaddi men tournament was held on 07th & 08th November 2022 at CIT Campus Gubbi. Total 17 teams of various Central Karnataka Division Engineering Colleges are participated in this tournament
The inaugural function was held on 7th November 2022 at 10.30 AM Sri G S Basavaraj Member of Parliament Tumkur & Chairman of the Society, Sri. G B Jyothi Ganesh–Secretary, & MLA Tumkur Dr. Suresh D S Director & Principal, CIT Group of Institution Dr. Shanthala C P vice Principal, CIT, Dr. Giridhar S Kulkarni Dean Admin & Mr. Jagadeesh G Physical Education Director, CIT were present in the Inaugural Function.
Final match was held between Malnad College of Engineering Hassan & Govt Engineering College, Moslehosalli Hassan the match won by Govt, Engineering College, Moslehosalli, Hassan

The inaugural function was held on 9th November 2022 at 10.30 AM Dr. Shanthala C P vice Principal, CIT, Dr. Giridhar S Kulkarni Dean Admin & Mr. Jagadeesh G Physical Education Director, CIT were present in the Inaugural Function Dr. Shanthala C P vice Principal, CIT has address the students and wish the all team players and team managers.
Final match was held between Malnad College of Engineering Hassan & East West College of Engineering Bangalore. The East West College of Engineering Bangalore won the tournament and lift the champion trophy.

VTU TEAM SELECTION TRAILS
VTU team selection trails was held on 10th November 2022 at 10AM total 98 students from all over Karnataka were taking part in to the selection trails and VTU has sent the 07 selection committee members to select the university team
College was given all the facility to participants like accommodation Food etc.. in a grand scale. Evening at 5.30 PM selection trails was ended with a Grand success
